1. Toodie has been actively potty training lately and being in school has only helped. Even though she knows to make pee-pee on the potty she has yet to master making a poopy. She still goes in her pull up. This week she told me, “Mom i’ve got poop.” Of course I replied and told her to come into her room to be cleaned. With huge excited eyes her response was, “I’m so excited! I can’t wait to see it!” Who would have thought poopy could be SO exciting?! It seems like every time this happens she wants to study and observe the creation she has made. I just can’t help but laugh..
2. I have no clue where she learned this or why she does it. It’s actually really gross and I am warning you before I actually reveal the act! Toodie is officially in her picking the nose phase. This week I caught her first hand going at it, digging for long lost treasure. I know normal children pick their nose then consume it ( we have ALL seen this ) but Toodie has a different plan for her boogies. She likes to use them as chapstick. Get where I am going with this? No further explanation needed!
3. Toodie has a new catch phrase. Every time she sees something flowery, girly, or pretty her reply is “AWWWWW that so cute mummy.” I don’t know where she got it from but she says it about EVERYTHING now. You could be changing the toilet paper roll and she would go on for minutes telling you how cute that roll is.
4. This week Toodie somehow got a hold of grandma’s bra and was using it as a slingshot. Then she strapped it on her head and ran around the house with two padded ear muffs. I guess bras really do have more than one use..
5. Lately when we have been in the car, whether are are headed to school or out for errands, Toodie is very selective about what is on the radio. She tells me what songs she likes and what SHE wants to listen to. As i scroll through the stations she says “No, not dat one mom.” Funny thing is she ALWAYS wants to listen to Adele every single time she is on the radio. Could my three year old really have selective taste in music!?

That's pretty funny! It's funny the crazy things our kids do! Fynley likes to sing to the radio but she hasn't gotten to the point of telling me what she doesn't want to hear. Fyn's favorite song is "We are young" by Fun. lol…
