Today is “Sicky Poo Sunday” in our house. Toodie woke up last night throwing up everywhere. I knew that getting sick was inevitable with her starting school and being exposed to so many germs. I just didn’t think it would creep up on me out of nowhere. After a hot bath and a little TLC we cuddled until she fell back asleep. It was a rough night and she woke up every hour tossing around. I don’t think either of us got very much sleep. This morning wasn’t any exception. With a stuffy nose, runny eyes, and a bad cough she has been moping around all day. Even though she isn’t feeling well she sure didn’t pass up on a little ice cream. Doesn’t ice cream seems to make everything better?

Ice cream does make everything better. This stomach bug has been going around over here as well. I have the cold but Brody has been pretty well for a while, knock on wood. Hope she is better soon!

That dang stomach bug got to our little one the other week. She ran a fever and then started throwing up. I absolutely hate when they get stomach bugs. You just feel so bad for them. I hope she feels better soon. Poor thing!

I wish ice cream still had the same magical effect on me when I get sick! Although, I think my parents more often used to get fruity popsicles. I would love staying home on the days where I felt better, but not better enough to go back to school, and played with my blocks for hours. ^_^
