1. Lately Toodie has been adamant about dressing herself and doing everything on her own. This includes picking out her outfit for the day, jammies at night, and even what accessories she would like in her hair. HELLO INDEPENDENCE! This has been very helpful especially on the mornings she goes to school. While i am cooking her breakfast she gets dressed and it saves me and extra few minutes. The only problem is, she puts everything on backwards! I took this photo the other night while she was distracted.
2. Preparing for Mother’s Day Sunday, I had Victoria decorating a card for her grandma and when she was all done she looked at me and said, “Mommy, this is gonna make grandma SOOOOOO happppyy.” You could tell she was proud of herself for covering the whole entire envelope with stickers, there was no inch uncovered!
3. Friday was a special day for Toodie and daddy. They spent the day at Butterfly world. When she came home she got in her pajamas (backwards of course) and i asked her how her day was. I always try and ask her what she does everyday whether she is home or our for the day. Last night when i asked her what she did at Butterfly World she gave me a few short sentences. She told me she saw butterflies flying around how pretty they were. When i asked her what else she saw her answer was,” I’m done talking.” Well OKAY then! I guess that wraps up our Butterfly World conversation!
4. Toodie has been loving her fruits lately. She eats watermelon almost everyday and I think this is pretty much her favorite fruit right now. The other night she was sitting next to me watching television, eating her watermelon. I was working on homework for my class and I turn over to see her chatting with herself. She ate a piece of watermelon and said ” Yeah that’s pretty good. Thank you!” It’s so cute to see her have conversations with herself. I am just waiting for the day she has an imaginary friend.
5.Whenever I am on the phone with someone, Toodie HAS to say hello. It does not matter if it’s a friend, family member, or recording from Walgreens to pick up my photos. The best part is she actually thinks that the person on the phone can “see” her and what she is doing. My best friend called me the other night and Toodie was rambling on about whoopie pies. She took the phone away from her ear and put it in front of the whoopie pie book and said ” You see whoopie pies, i like them, i want to make chocolate one.” This is such a funny sight to see.

Holy cow- Hayley is the exact same way. She puts everything on backwards! Aw- I can't wait for her to give her grandma the card- that is so cute! Our kids must be around the same age because Hayley does the same exact thing with the phone too. However, T whoopee talk about her book is much better. Happy Mom Day!! Loved your laughs!
