It isn’t often that I get the pleasure of including my dogs in my blog. But when I do get the opportunity, I love giving them new products that will get their little tails wagging! With this being said, February is National Heart Health Month and we can‘t forget the fluffy guys that keep our hearts happy. Pets keep us healthy by reducing stress, keeping our blood pressure in check, and keeping us active compared to other non-pet owners. They are loving, faithful, and dependable. Why not do something to keep them healthy as well? Give them the gift of Wellness!
Both the Wellness CORE Ocean Formula and Wellness CORE Small Breed Formula provide the heart-health boosting ingredient, Omega 3 fatty acid, as well as an overall optimal blend of balanced nutrition, ideal for a heart-healthy diet! Wellness dog and cat food can be found at Petsmart, Pet Supermarket, Petco, All Pet’s Emporium, and many other stores. Focused on creating the healthiest options for our pets, they believe in real authentic foods that can be trusted. This means there is an ideal balance of protein, fats, and carbohydrates in their products. Leaving the”empty calories” behind, each ingredient has a purpose. What may that purpose be? To support your pet’s well being so that they can continue to live a healthy, strong, and happy life.
Wellness CORE dry and wet dog food is also grain-free. As I have mentioned before, my youngest pup Chloe Marie has bad allergies to food and treats containing grains or wheat. Even the slightest taste makes her itchy and very uncomfortable. This is why finding a dependable grain-free formula is important and essential in keeping her happy and healthy. Wellness makes sure that they use the highest quality of natural ingredients to create dense protein rich meals for our four legged friends. Not only is their food healthier but it is also packed with flavor. In addition to the specialized formulas, the protein is included in moderation so there is no excess fat that could boost calories. Compared to other brands offering similar products, Wellness does not use fillers to make up for the lack of grain within the formula. Instead they use high quality animal protein along with a blend of botanicals and natural supplements. They are truly focused on nurturing your dog’s “inner core.”
Considering Chloe couldn’t stand to wait for me to even open the bag, I think she really enjoyed the dog food! Normally she does her usual approach, sniff out, walk away, and then struts back when she feels interested. But as soon as I poured her a bowl of the Wellness CORE, she buried her little nose inside. Minutes later there were only a few morsels left and one full pup plopped on her bed. I would say it made a pretty good impression! Since Chloe also has very small teeth, I appreciated the food pieces being very tiny and geared towards the smaller breeds. The Ocean Formula food was a bit larger and suitable for medium to large dogs. I will be giving it to Sam, who was not feeling very “cooperative” during today’s photo session!
