To do this day laundry remains one of the most monotonous and not so popular household chores. Don’t get me wrong, there are many other things that I enjoy doing less around here. I guess that explains why some of my blue tops have a purple tint to them. I usually have problems with colors from my towels and my summer dresses fading a bleeding very badly.

I never have color issues… just hard water issues… I used to sort my laundry and now I just throw it all in unless it is a delicate.
The issue I have is with towels of all different colors and not wanting to have to wash them separately.
I actually just picked up my first bottle of Purex! I have never used this brand before and I am so excited to do laundry later tonite.
My problem is forgetting to wash new jeans only with dark clothes!

Now that nicer weather is here the colors of my clothes will go back to being brighter and more colorful as opposed to just blacks and blues and browns. I like bright, happy colors during the nicer weather!
Hubby tends to throw everything in one load and our whites often end up pale shades of other colors!

This is my kind of laundry! LOL. I really try hard to sort, but there is always the occasional stray that gets mixed in.
haha, this is my sort of detergent since I'm not much of a sorter anyway, lol. I try to keep whites together (TRY) and darks, and I do my towels separate, but that's about it. I totally need to try this.
It's been ages since I've sorted laundry. The sorting I do is baby's, big kids, ours. LOL. I do try to wash our black jeans separately, just to keep them black.

I hate doing laundry. I am not great at sorting – usually I just take out the whites and towels, etc.
I use Purex every now and then – about once a month you can get a great deal at Walgreens. I have never seen the no-sorting one but I will definitely be on the lookout for it. Thanks for sharing 🙂

as far as sorting goes i only have issues with the blacks and blues. I have to be super careful because one thing can lead to a dye issue. if i toss in a light color with the dark you know THAT result.
I hate when I put new dark clothes in and white socks sneak in there too…then my white socks come out gray:(

This would sure save me some time! I usually have issues with fading.
My issue is that I usually only have a few reds and always end up throwing them in with the blacks and hope for the best.
I end up with tidy pinkies.

New clothes staining my old clothes–you know how they do :/ You basically have to wash them by their selves until they calm down and act like they have some sense. 😉 I wash everything in cold water to save money and time, because the washer fills faster with cold water.

My husband often helps do laundry… and he's not a good sorter. I'm just happy he's helping so I don't complain but we often get some color issues on lighter clothes. I'm hoping no sort Purex would help 🙂
Being the only girl in the house my boys don't like for my pinks to bleed into their whites ha!
We have 6 people in our family and lots of laundry with sports uniforms, hubby and I's uniforms, and more. It take a lot of time to separate and some times I don't but my hubby has ended up with pink undershirts a few times lol
Blue jeans and new reds can really ruin a load!
The biggest issue is my daughters pink clothes bleeding into my husband or sons shirts!

Getting colors on whites
My kids are messy but even worse is my husbands work clothes that have the smell of grease and sweat. I wash his clothes separately from the rest of the families. His are really dark so I had to wash them separate from his other clothes too.
My colors always fade and my reds and burgundies always bleed onto the other clothes.
Color fade and color bleed are problems in our house.
I have issues with our colors fading.
My color issue is that Our white socks and tank tops accidently get put in the washer with darks and get dingy.
