Christmas has always been one of my favorite holidays but it is also the most time consuming and stressful. There is the decorating, cooking, baking, Elf On The Shelf hiding, wrapping, and preparing for Santa’s arrival. Somewhere in between all that is a few hours of sleep and maybe a cup of coffee. I experience pure madness at times and I think I kind of secretly enjoy the thrill. It may be a month away but my daughter is counting the days and reciting her list to me on a regular basis whether it’s in the bath or on the way to school. This year I did a majority of my shopping early and made sure I was prepared ahead of time. This included stocking up on batteries to power up all of those toys under the tree.
Before the big day make sure you are prepared for those “batteries not included” kinda gifts. It will make Christmas morning much more enjoyable knowing you didn’t forget one of the most important stocking stuffers. There is nothing worse than ripping open the hottest toy of the year and not being able to play with it because you have no batteries. Oh wait, there is. How about not being able to watch television all day because your child stole the batteries from every single remote control in the house? Yes this could be you! I did it when I was younger and as an adult I am guilty of the same. Desperate times call for desperate measures.
This year I decided to not take any chances and stocked up on Duracell batteries ahead of time. Duracell CopperTop All-Purpose alkaline batteries are not only dependable, they’re also long-lasting. We use them in our everyday devices and during storm season. You can never have too many batteries when living in Florida. The holidays are no exception. Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand and their variety of sizes really do make for the perfect stocking stuffer. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t use batteries!
The CopperTop batteries are available in sizes AA, AAA, C, D and 9V. The 4 pack and 16 pack appear to be the most popular choices this time of year. Both are ideal for toys, radios and other electronics that will see a lot of use. Use them in all of your devices and enjoy the fact that they are long-lasting. You can find a variety of Duracell batteries at your local Walmart. Don’t forget to buy a few packs for yourself and a pack for each person you are gifting an electronic too!

Oh we always try to stock up on batteries for Christmas day! When I give my gifts I always attach the batteries the toy needs to the package. I always feel bad when they get toys and cannot play with them.
