Here is another opportunity to indulge your sweet tooth in preparation for Valentine’s Day! These Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers topped with sprinkles and PEEPS® Vanilla Crème Flavored Marshmallow Hearts are guaranteed to make your sweetheart smile.
Whether it’s National Toasted Marshmallow Day (yes this exists in August) or Valentine’s Day, kiddos love the ooey gooey squishy-ness of PEEPS®. Can you blame them? This fresh and fluffy treat has been around for years and there is nothing quite like biting into that thin sugar coating to reach the sweet puff of ‘mallow inside. In fact, it’s equivalent to pure bliss. That’s what makes them the ideal dessert for Valentine’s Day. Today I am sharing how to make these Chocolate Covered Graham Crackers topped with sprinkles and of course, a scrumptious heart shaped marshmallow. If you’re stuck on what to get your sweetheart this special time of year then this simple recipe is great option.
PEEPS® has an assortment of Valentine’s Day treats that are sure to make your heart skip a beat. Here’s the seasonal line-up full of marshmallowie goodness and much more, including those airy Vanilla Creme hearts I topped my graham crackers with.

- PEEPS® Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Crème Flavored Chicks
- PEEPS® Marshmallow Hearts
- PEEPS® Strawberry Crème Flavored Marshmallow Hearts
- PEEPS® Cherries Drizzled and Dipped in Chocolate

- PEEPS® Chocolate Covered Raspberry Flavored Heart
- MIKE AND IKE® Passion Mix Candy
- HOT TAMALES® Fierce Cinnamon Candy
- HOT TAMALES® Valentine’s Lollipops
- PEEPS® Plush Valentine’s Day Bunny
Ingredients:
- hot pink candy melts
- red candy melts
- graham crackers broken into squares
- Valentine sprinkles
- PEEPS® Vanilla Crème Flavored Marshmallow Hearts
Directions:
1. Line baking sheet with wax or parchment paper.
2. Using microwave safe bowls, heat red and pink candy melts separately in 30 second intervals. Stir regularly with a rubber spatula to prevent burning. Continue this process until completely melted.
3. Attached to a fork, dip each individual graham cracker square into the melted chocolate and coat each side. Allow excess chocolate to drip off. Keep any extra for later use.
4. Place graham crackers on the baking sheet. Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes. Transfer red chocolate to a small piping bag or Ziploc bag. Drizzle on top of crackers and add a generous amount of Valentine themed sprinkles.
5. Refrigerate for an additional 10-15 minutes for chocolate to harden.
6. Remove and add heart shaped marshmallows to the center using a small dab of melted chocolate.
7. Best consumed immediately but will keep fresh for up to two weeks if stored in an air tight container.
How fun are these PEEP-tastic treats to hand out to friends, family, and that special someone on Valentine’s Day? You can’t go wrong with chocolate, marshmallow, and a shower of sprinkles.
