This Halloween, bring the monsters to life with these frightfully fun and wickedly delicious Monster Eyeballs made out of chicken nuggets, available at Publix!
This is Halloween, this is Halloween! It’s that time of year again, one of my all-time favorite holidays to celebrate when the sun goes down. In a few short weeks, we’ll be handing out treats to all the little ghouls and goblins on the block. I love watching them stroll the streets in their creative costumes, goodie bags in tow! But until then, I’m spooking family and friends with this super easy recipe using Tyson® Chicken Nuggets. Crispy on the outside, tender within, AND made with 100% all-natural ingredients, which make them an excellent base for this recipe. Move over candy, these are deliciously dreadful and simple enough that the kids can help too. Bring the festivities into the kitchen and whip up a frightfully fun snack. You’ll have a blast putting these together.
If you like creepy more than cute then Bloodshot Monster Eyeballs are sure to satisfy. They are a great appetizer for an upcoming Halloween party or spooky bite to eat for those prowling the refrigerator after a long day at school. Your family will gobble these up faster than a starving skeleton!
BLOODSHOT MONSTER EYEBALLS
To create the perfect specimen, every mad scientist must be equipped with the right supplies and in this case, ingredients. Everything used for this recipe can be found at Publix, with the exception of one item that you may need to venture to the craft store for.
Here is what you’ll need:
- Tyson® Chicken Nuggets
- ketchup
- pickled jalapeno slices
- large green and yellow candy eyeballs
- plastic squeeze condiment bottle with precision tip or silicone food decorating pen
Begin by preparing Tyson Chicken Nuggets according to the package instructions. Once cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before decorating.
Fill a plastic squeeze bottle or decorating pen with ketchup. Draw squiggly lines on the top of each chicken nugget to resemble bloodshot veins.
Keep your eyes peeled and taste-buds alert. This next addition is a spicy one! In the center of the ketchup arteries, place a small slice of jalapeno.
Last but certainly not least, bring your chicken nuggets to life by adding an eerie candy eyeball in the center! These tasty snacks are now ready to be served.
After a long night of trick-or-treating, your kiddos will be eager to sink their teeth into these handcrafted edible eyeballs!
Will you be incorporating Tyson Chicken Nuggets into your Halloween festivities? *Minimally processed. No artificial ingredients. Also, look for Tyson® Chicken Strips available at Publix!
