With Halloween about two weeks away I am thrilled to say that costumes have been purchased, treat bags have been assembled for school, decorations are up and the giant cauldron by the front door is full to the rim with CANDY! This year was painless. Since I ordered Toodie’s costume and accessories online I was able to avoid the crazy crowds, the worst part of any holiday. Of course I decided to use the saved timed and energy to make another treat in the kitchen this weekend, Cotton Candy Cobweb Cupcakes. I couldn’t help myself given the next two weeks are busy ones. This may be the last yummy treat I make before the haunted holiday arrives!

5 Must Have Hair Products For Kids + Earn Rewards With Suave Family Perks
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Global Influence.
I have a confession. I strongly dislike HATE doing my daughter’s hair. I try, I really do… but I’m just not very good at it. You would think after spending many years doing my own hair I would have somehow mastered the common pony tail and maybe even a braid here and there. When I found out I was having a little girl I couldn’t wait for the frilly dresses, embellished shoes, and adorable hairstyles with coordinating accessories. Well here we are five years later and the adorable hairstyle fantasy just isn’t happening. I am lucky if I get a comb through it without a loud scream of terror.

It’s no mystery that Halloween is high on the list when it comes to my favorite holidays. Last month I got a head start and began sharing a few of my ghoulish recipes to get into the spirit. As we approach the spooky day of celebration my gears have been locked into creative mode and there has been quite a bit of hocus pocus going on in the kitchen. As much as I enjoy nibbling on Halloween candy before and after the big day, it has become a staple ingredient in my creations lately. These Lumpy Bumpy Monster Candy Cupcakes bring the best of my two favorite treats together- cake and candy. Using the Wonka Mix Ups I was able to bring those fun lumpy bumpy creatures to life!

Save With Shell’s Fuel Reward Network + $100 Gas Gift Card #GIVEAWAY
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post in which I have been compensated. All opinions are my own.
Each day my laundry list of tasks and errands somehow grows longer and longer. It appears that when I signed up for motherhood five years ago there were a quite a few other jobs that came along with it. Just a mom? How about a chef, maid, friend, teacher, nurse, entertainer, and the ever so popular personal chauffeur. I am officially the glorified taxi driver to my five year old and will probably continue to be until she is at least 16! While I don’t mind the title, I do have to be creative when it comes to finding ways to save on the fuel that keeps the engine running. With the Shell Fuel Rewards Network program I earn rewards while pumping gas and doing things that are typical in my everyday life.

4 Ways To Split Up With Split Ends #TRESemmeTransformation

For over a year now I have been doing everything in my power to grow my hair out. I love the look of long, beautiful, flowy locks but it’s been a tough road. The process alone drives me completely crazy. I stopped getting my hair colored as often, reduced the frequency of trims, and taken vitamins to speed up the results. You would think my hair would be healthier with these changes but my ends are still dry, brittle, and screaming for help.

New HERSHEY’S Yogurt Mix-Ins Make Snack Time Fun #HERSHEYS
Disclosure: The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through Platefull Co-Op.
Chocolate and yogurt are two things I could probably never get enough of. I eat more yogurt than anyone in my home and while I like mine simple, Toodie loves adding toppings to hers. Whether it’s granola, fresh fruit, or nerds- we both find yogurt more delicious with a little something extra in it. When I am grocery shopping I always keep my eye out for new mix ins on the shelves. These are yogurt packages with a tiny cup of toppings above the lid that can be added in. Toodie always asks for these in her lunchbox and pouring in the little container of goodies makes the experience even more fun.

Monster Marshmallow Krispie Treats
No matter how busy my week gets, and this one has been CRAZY, I always make time to create something fun in the kitchen. So far I have gotten my fix through Zombie Oreo Cookie Eyeballs, Caramel Pretzel Mummy Bites, and Eerie Eyeball Pretzel Rods. It’s about time we moved on to monsters! This is a fun one and a great pre-Halloween activity to do with the kids. You can prepare the treats and let them make their own faces and expressions.

Comfy Cozy Fall Essentials
There are certain things that I must have on hand through Fall and Winter. To me this time of the year always screams “comfy cozy” and there are a few essentials I can’t be without. I associate all of them with curling up, staying warm (the rare days it gets cold here), and enjoying those warm fuzzy feelings the season brings. I live for Fall!
