I wasn’t going to let the 4th of July come and ago without whipping up something sweet in the kitchen. What better way to celebrate a patriotic holiday than with a plate of Firecracker Whoopie Pie Bites? These may look like your typical whoopie pies but these yummy cakes have a bit of sparkle to them. The secret? Pop Rocks. A candy that most of us remember from our childhood can make any recipe fun. These are also the perfect treat if you are having a BBQ or get together for the holiday. Kids will love that pop and crackle in each bite they take!

This Summer Do More + Score BIG With Degree At Walgreens
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of Global Influence.
When I was growing up sports were always a huge part of my life. My grandfather used to take me to all of the Florida Marlin’s baseball games and to this day we remain Dolphin’s season ticket holders. While I spent many years cheering from the sidelines at the the baseball and football games, I soon developed a passion for soccer as I entered high school. Kicking the ball around, being part of an organized team, and having the wind blow in your hair as you dashed to score a goal was beyond exciting. To this day I regret not trying out for the soccer team. Instead I moved my focus to cheerleading which was an interest that quickly faded away!

Celebrate With Hallmark Poster Cards For Kids #KidsCards #CollectiveBias
When Toodie & I made the big move from Colorado back to Florida I was sad to leave our friends and their children behind. In the past five years we must have sent a ton of birthday cards, thinking of you cards, good luck cards, and kid’s cards to keep us connected. I was pretty worried after the move because the majority of my circle here in FL are single, just getting married, or childless! Luckily her father has quite a few friends who have kids the same age as her. One of them, who is more like his brother, has an adorable little boy named Matthew. It was friendship at first site and they quickly clicked after their initial play date.
Recipe: Ooey Gooey Cake Batter Bars
Growing up my mother was not the best cook on the block but she sure could bake. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree in this case. While I enjoy cooking and attempting to make edible dishes, it just isn’t my thing. You should stick to what your good at in and out of the kitchen. I’m good at burning things and also setting the smoke alarm off. That alone tells me that my culinary interests should be channeled to something more productive. Now when it comes to baking I’m your girl.

Discovering The Power Of The “Infographic” + 20 COOL Facts About Social Media
You read correct. I may be a noob but I discovered the “infographic” in its entirety today. I have always been aware of what an infographic is, even used it on my blog once or twice, but never actually utilized one to its full potential. In case you are in the same lonely boat as I am, an infographic is defined as a visual image such as a chart or diagram used to represent information. It contains eye catching elements while also delivering statistics or interesting facts in a poster like format. They look rather easy to create and design but are still chalk full of important info. They’re also fun to read and make for great conversation starters with friends, family, and your readers.

Keep Your Eyes On The Road + #DecideToDrive Safely #CleverGirls
As I have gotten older and my list of responsibilities has increased, I have noticed there are truly not enough hours in a single day. It always seems there is so much to do and so little time to get it done. As human beings we tend to be natural born multi-taskers. Regardless of where we are or what we may be doing there is always that itch to do more than one thing at once. This includes at home, in the office, and most importantly within our vehicles as we commute each day. In the car there are distractions all around making it hard to focus on one thing or the road in front of us. Distracted driving is the result of any activity or engagement that causes you to take your attention off of the road and away from the task of operating your vehicle with care.
