The Summer Beauty VoxBox came with a lot of new things I haven’t tried before. I didn’t expect this box to arrive so soon since I just received my Mom VoxBox weeks ago. I am still busy testing out all of those products! Now I have double the products to try, which is just an extra perk. This is what makes the program so unique. The more active you are, the more boxes you will qualify to receive. 

  
While I am excited to try all of these products, the one thing that stuck out to me first was the Sally Hansen Magnetic Nail Color. I have seen this nail polish before in the store but never could bring myself to buy it. Magnetic Nails are HOT right now and all of the popular nail polish brands are dabbing into the trend. Within minutes of painting your nails all you have to do it place the magnet over top to get the 3D nail art that so many are raving about. The color that I was sent to try is “Polar Purple.” Influenster must know that I love purple-y polishes. 

Yes, I just couldn’t resist painting one nail and giving it a try! On a side note- this stuff drys super quick. I think it’s a winner because I HATE siting around waiting for my nails to dry. 



On top of the nail polish there are several other products in the box that I am interested in trying- like ALL of them! As always, reviews will be up soon.

My Thoughts

When I saw the Sally Hansen Salon Effect nail stickers in my box I couldn’t wait to give them a try. I have used numerous brands and types of nail stickers before but have heard that Sally Hansen makes some of the best out there. These nail stickers were easy to apply and it took no thought it getting them on. It was a simple press on, file, and shape. I even added a clear coat on top of them so that they would last longer and also be secure. Sally Hansen Salon Effects also come in a ton of different colors and patterns. There is a wide variety to choose from. You can have a salon like manicure within minutes and there is NO drying time to worry about! They last well over a week and in my experience, longer than 10 days. To remove, all you need is a little bit on nail polish remover.

My Thoughts: 

  What better way to try out the new Dr. Scholl’s Ball of Foot Cushions than in a new pair of heels? A couple of months ago I purchased these from Sole Society and have not had a chance to really break them in. While they are generally comfortable shoes, there is always that moment of discomfort after a few hours of standing in them. These little cushions work wonders. They are small enough to conceal within your shoe but the right size to cover the ball of your foot. The pad keeps still inside your shoes and also prevents your foot from sliding back and forth. These are a heaven sent for long weekend nights out dancing and walking around!

My Thoughts:

 
The scent I received in my Spring VoxBox was the classic Sweet Pea. The Sweet Pea scent contains notes of Sweet Pea, Watery Pear, Logan Berry, Rhubarb,Cyclamen, Freesia, and Raspberry. It’s a very fresh, sweet, and girly scent that can easily be layered with other body mists, lotions, and perfumes containing similar notes. Sweet Pea is very familiar to me because along with Juniper Breeze, which is discontinued, it was one of the first fragrances I ever used from Bath & Body Works. It’s been around for years and continues to be one of the most popular scents. I really like that it’s not too overpowering and on the days i don’t feel like wearing a strong perfume, this is what I use. I am a big fan of the floral fruity scents, this being one of my favorites. The new packaging immediately caught my eye when i took it out of the box. I like this style bottle so much better than their previous ones. It’s sleek and sophisticated but still contains their classic scents. Another plus when it comes to the fragrance mists is that they always have other products to pair with them. This includes body lotions, washes, candles, anti bacterial soap, body scrub, home fragrance, and even shampoo & conditioner! You can easily layer the scent of your choice with all of these products. The New Fine Fragrance Mist make great gifts and are also essential additions to your current collection.

Sponges and dish washing liquid seem like a staple in everyone’s home. We are always looking for that perfect combo that will not only keep our dishes clean but also eliminate the icky germs lingering around. If there is one thing that I am sure everyone can agree on it’s that  we all hate when our dish washing sponge gets smelly and disgusting.  Even after sticking the sponge in the dish washer it doesn’t last very long after and even that doesn’t kill all the odors. Luckily Palmolive has now launched a Fresh Sponge Dishwashing Liquid to solve our issues.
 
Recently Influenster selected myself and other moms to give this product a test drive. I was sent a kit including a new fresh sponge, the Palmolive Fresh Sponge soap, and six coupons to share with friends. After using the Palmolive Fresh Sponge dish soap for the past couple of weeks I can definitely see the difference. While my dishes are clean and sparkling, my sponge still has that fresh smell after two weeks. There have been no lingering odors and I have not had to switch out my sponge since I began using. Palmolive Fresh Sponge dishwashing liquid has a unique dual-action formula designed to wash away odor causing residue from sponges and clean dishes to a sparkling shine. Influenster : Kiss Nail Dress

My Review:

Hate waiting around for your nail polish to dry? Want to pull your hair out when your freshly painted polish chips? Maybe you just don’t have the time to get a manicure each week and need a quick alternative. All three of the above apply to me and i am sure many other ladies out there. I am a full time stay at home mom and even though i love getting the typical mani & pedi I don’t always have the time to do so. I usually only take the time to give myself a nice manicure if i a know I am going out with friends or on the weekend. Otherwise I don’t even bother. My hands are always in something – changing diapers, painting, play-do, and soapy dishes.

If you are like me or just like to change your nails up often then the Kiss Nail Dress Strips have your name all over them! I was really happy to see these in the recent #lovevoxbox from Influenster because I have seen a lot of my friends wearing them lately. To me these are the ideal alternative to getting a manicure or taking the time to give yourself one. The pack comes with 28 strips that vary in size. With so many strips and so many sizes you can use these on your nails or even your toes. After you pick the sizes that will fit your nails you pull the stickers off of the sheet and place them on each nail individually. It’s very important that you press these down very firmly otherwise when you go to file them to remove the excess strip they will pull up. Once they are on your nails you simply pull the extra piece of strip downward and file the edge of your nail with the included file board. After you are done you can clean up the edges with the file or take your nail clippers to remove any edges that might be poking out. Also, if you are someone that tends to be hard on their nails I would suggest using a clear coat of nail polish on top. This will keep the stickers on longer and also give you that “new manicure” finish. 
I was very impressed with these nail stickers. They lasted a whole week and weekend for me. For a busy mom this is a long time! Now that I know these are available I can’t wait to try some of the other designs. I give this product 10 stars all around. I will even give it an extra start JUST because they came with 28 strips for all sorts of nail shapes and lengths. Will be picking up more of these during my next trip to Walgreens 🙂
