100 Day Picture Challenge: Day 22
I went with my wallet for this one only because this is the one thing I have never forgotten to take with me, even in a rush. Normally it would have probably been my cell phone but I always have a fear of getting pulled over & not having my driver’s license on me. Before I leave the house I always double check to see if my wallet is in my purse or I at least have my ID in my back pocket.
100 Day Picture Challenge: Day 21
Day 21 such a bitter sweet. It was hard for me to find a photo of something I wish I could forget without getting too much into my personal life. I went with this one because it was one of the first nights I went out with friends after moving back to Florida from Colorado. I had such a GREAT time and made some unforgettable memories but I also got extremely sick! I have never been much of a drinker, although my tolerance has improved over the past two years. Certain liqueurs make me sick to my stomach. I HATE vodka- the smell, the taste, ughhh it’s gross. I remember going to dinner and then going to the Hardrock and basically throwing up everything I had in my stomach. To make it even better, it was in the tree next to the nightclub we were in. A friend of mine actually has a picture of me in the background and someone holding my hair for me! I wish I could find it because that would have been great for Day 21. Fun times, amazing friends, and honestly it was probably all worth it in the end!
100 Day Picture Challenge: Day 20
A picture of somewhere you’d love to travel
I know most people will probably choose some exotic location on a nearby island but for Day 20 I am going with Colorado. If I had to get on a plane right now and had the luxury of telling the captain to fly my anywhere- this is right where I would go. After living in Colorado for a few years it really did grow on me. I would give anything to be back there. The beautiful landscapes, change in seasons, and sights to see can’t be beat.

You may be thinking .. how in the world could that tiny potty have an impact on your life? Well if you have a child or you are going through potty training yourself, you will probably understand. Toodie has been in the beginning stages of potty training for a few months now. I never thought we would get to the point where she was willing to go and remember throughout the day to take her business to the bathroom. Somehow we actually made it. She uses the potty ALL day and most of the time initiates it on her own. It seemed like we were struggling so much in the beginning that it made me wonder if we would ever succeed. I really give most of the credit to her teacher at school. She may only go two days a week but since she has been attending, using the potty has become a second nature. She never wears her pull ups at school and always has panties on when I pick her up. I was even surprised that she never had an accident, not even during nap time. If you have children then I am sure you know potty training can be a struggle. For most it doesn’t happen over night and it’s not easy. Only a parent could truly understand how much of a positive impact having your child potty trained can have on your life and theirs! I feel that Toodie has been doing so well with the potty that soon enough she will master it. When this happens it will give be a huge relief and weight off my shoulders. I will be able to enroll her in school full time, continue working on my degree, and also start working again!

One thing, of the many, that I want to do before I die is go on a long cruise to Alaska. The view alone would be absolutely gorgeous and the scenery is something you cannot walk outside and see everyday. I also love the cold. Living in Florida 99% of the time it’s hot and humid. I would give anything to go somewhere freezing where I had to be bundled up, even if it’s temporary! I’ve been on a cruise through the Caribbean before and had an incredible time. I really just want to experience something new and different. Alaska is a beautiful place and how many people can actually say they have vacationed there? I hope one day I can say I am one of them!
