With Valentine’s Day being less than a week away I thought it would be the perfect time to share one of my favorite cupcake creations. After all, who doesn’t love peanut butter? What about chocolate? They go hand in hand and these decadent cupcakes combine both of these blissful ingredients together. If you’re anything like me you are content eating them by the spoonful! But I promise you they are much more delicious in cupcake form. Did I mention peanut butter buttercream from scratch?

Salami Roll Ups + Honey Mustard Aioli Dipping Sauce
It’s a month away but I am already ahead of the game when it comes to making Super Bowl snacks. Whether you are watching at home, tailgating with friends, or a guest at a party- yummy munchies are a major essential on game day. Anyone will tell you. On Super Bowl Sunday you are guaranteed to come in contact with two types of people: die hard football fanatics glued to the television and grazers who are more interested in the food rather than the sport! Either way you better be prepared to create something delicious that will feed a mass amount of hungry fans.

Skinny Chicken Pot Pie
Disclosure: The information, products and Publix gift cards were provided by General Mills through Linqia
Resolution season is here and a new year means a fresh start for all of us. Rather than make resolutions I hope to accomplish I came up with a realistic list of goals that I can work towards throughout the year of 2015. Number 6 on that list is eating healthier and trying new foods, specifically vegetables. Letting go of unhealthy eating habits doesn’t necessarily happen over night. It’s a work in progress and with the right amount of effort it will become a lifestyle instead of a chore. I’ve started working towards these goals by purchasing Weight Watchers endorsed products at Publix and getting creative in the kitchen.

Spiked Cranberry Lemonade With A Fizzy Kick
This post has been facilitated by Zevia but my love for the fizzy drink is all my own!
Last month while attending the WOW Summit here in Florida I had the opportunity to connect with Zevia and attend one of their workshops which focused on holiday entertaining. You may remember the zero calorie soda from my Strawberry Soda Cupcake recipe in which I used it to infuse my batter. It has been satisfying my bubbly beverage cravings for years now with its plethora of flavors and varieties. Since these natural sodas contain zero artificial sweeteners I don’t feel guilty drinking these regularly. Zevia sodas make for the perfect drink all year round but they can also add a kick to any cocktail during the holidays.

Snowman Sugar Cookies + Nestle Cookie Dough Sheets
Today’s post is sponsored by Nestle Toll House, but my love for their Rolled & Ready Cookie Dough Sheets is all my own! #CookieDoughSheets
Let’s talk holiday baking today. Not the kind from scratch that leaves us scraping batter off of the kitchen counter or finding peppermint candies stuck in our hair two days later. I’m talking the easy kind, the kind we do when we have to fill 10 gift tins with a cute and also edible cookie. During the holidays baking should be a breeze. We have a million other things going on- shopping, wrapping, hosting, decorating, and so on. I am always looking for a way to simplify the process so it’s enjoyable and gives me the opportunity to create new traditions that I can build upon the following year. You can imagine how excited I was to find the new Nestle Tollhouse Cookie Dough Sheets because they make baking quick, easy, stress free, and fun!

Three Cheese Scalloped Cowboy Potatoes + GIVEAWAY
The information, products and Betty Crocker™ Potato gift cards were provided by Betty Crocker™ through Linqia.
‘Tis the season to satisfy your hunger with delicious holiday dishes and desserts. In my family the real celebration starts in the kitchen and makes its way to a table filled with those we care about. Whether you are cooking for friends or family, side dishes are just as important as the main course. Our menu is typically the same every year and always includes a big juicy turkey. After all, if it isn’t broke don’t fix it! My mom makes her killer sweet potato souffle and I am usually in charge of the sweets. This year I decided that I would take on the potato dish as well and add my own twist to a classic using Betty Crocker™ Potatoes.

This week I celebrated the end of a grueling semester and the beginning of my three week break before another begins. It’s time to really enjoy the holidays and savor the joyful moments of December. What better way to do so then to start creating homemade goodies for friends and family? I love baking all year round but there is something about the holidays that gets me into the spirit to spread Christmas cheer through sweets! One of my favorite things to snack on this time of year is peanut brittle. It’s sweet, salty, and has the perfect crunch to it. I’ve been wanting to incorporate it into a recipe for the longest and when I came across the limited edition Planter’s Brittle Nut Medley I decided to take full advantage.

Roasted Red Pepper + Whipped Feta Crostini
Thank you to Mezzetta for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to get creative and create a unique recipe for the Holidays.
The holidays are here. You can run, you can hide, but you can’t escape the festivities! By now you have probably been invited to a holiday party or two. Maybe you’re hosting your own. Regardless of where you choose to celebrate this time of year good food and drinks are a main focus. I find it’s always best to think outside of the box and prepare dishes or appetizers that are different. Anyone can make a bean dip or a plate of sugar cookies. Dips and spreads are a delicious way to feed a room of people and keep them content. I’ve gotten and early start by preparing my own tasty recipe with a couple of my favorite Mezetta products. After experimenting in the kitchen I made an out of this world Roasted Red Pepper & Whipped Feta Crostini. I can’t stop eating them!

“Keep It Stupid Simple,” has been an unwritten rule in the kitchen lately. This week I realized that while I may really enjoy baking, some of my creations do not turn out as I intend them too. In fact, a majority of them may not even be edible at the end of the process! I had a few mishaps during my pre-Thanksgiving dessert preparation. After one or two failed attempts I decided to make a fool proof cookie bar using two of my favorite ingredients, chocolate and toffee. Of course, keeping it simple paid off and these Chunky Chocolate Toffee Bars were pure deliciousness.
