With Halloween about two weeks away I am thrilled to say that costumes have been purchased, treat bags have been assembled for school, decorations are up and the giant cauldron by the front door is full to the rim with CANDY! This year was painless. Since I ordered Toodie’s costume and accessories online I was able to avoid the crazy crowds, the worst part of any holiday. Of course I decided to use the saved timed and energy to make another treat in the kitchen this weekend, Cotton Candy Cobweb Cupcakes. I couldn’t help myself given the next two weeks are busy ones. This may be the last yummy treat I make before the haunted holiday arrives!

Zombie Oreo Cookie Eyeballs
Let’s talk zombies. Since The Walking Dead series took off almost four years ago the zombie has become the favorite monster of many. I may be the only human being out there left to say this but I have never actually watched an episode of the show. That doesn’t mean I don’t have a soft spot for the emancipated, decaying, brain-eating, grotesque community of zombies. No longer the bottom feeder of the monster world, zombies make Halloween much more exciting.

Cookies And Cream Popcorn Munch
I don’t know if it’s because Publix has the sweetest B1G1 deals or we really love these classic cream filled wafers but we have accumulated a plethora of Oreo cookies in our pantry. Original, double stuffed, lemon, mint, root beer- you name it, we got it. Every time they release a new flavor it ends up in our shopping cart. With the snack drawer needing a little of relief I decided to use what we had lying around and whip up a batch of Cookies & Cream Popcorn Munch.Worst thing I could have ever done because no one in this house can stop eating it including my child who is totally wired right now. I can only blame myself and my continuous itch to make sweet goodies. If you love the lovable Oreo or the medley of sweet and salty flavors, this is the snack for you

Recipe: Ooey Gooey Cake Batter Bars
Growing up my mother was not the best cook on the block but she sure could bake. The apple didn’t fall far from the tree in this case. While I enjoy cooking and attempting to make edible dishes, it just isn’t my thing. You should stick to what your good at in and out of the kitchen. I’m good at burning things and also setting the smoke alarm off. That alone tells me that my culinary interests should be channeled to something more productive. Now when it comes to baking I’m your girl.

Cupid’s Candy Corn Rice Krispy Treats #ValentinesDay
Have you ever came across someone that didn’t like the ooey gooey buttery deliciousness of a Rice Krispie Treat? Neither have I! I grew up eating them & have always considered these to be a traditional treat that can be made from scratch in a matter of minutes. Not to mention, they are inhaled quicker than they actually take to make. They never do last very long when a batch is homemade & my free hand goes a little crazy with the marshmallows. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day I made a slight change to these treats by adding in candy corn. They turned out amazing. One slight ingredient change can make such a huge difference in the final product.

Dogswell LIVEFREE: Halloween Munchies For Your Four Legged Friends!
Halloween is a short month away. I have a feeling the next four weeks are going to speed by too. Most of us are preparing our children’s costumes, making goodie bags for school, and creating fun festive recipes to start the holiday off right. While you may have all of those things in order, did you remember your furry friend? This year make a conscious effort to treat your pet with a spooky snack on the big night. After all, who doesn’t take their dog out this time of year? It’s the one day we have an excuse to dress them up in ridiculous costumes and show them off to neighbors. Well at least that’s what WE do! I can’t say Chloe & Sam are big fans of that whole process but they do enjoy the constant flow of company at the house. As long as they have something of their own to snack on, the barking is kept to a minimum and little tails are waggin’.

BIG Flavors For Small Dogs: WELLNESS Petite Dog Treats #REVIEW
If you have a small pup with allergies or dietary restrictions, then this review is for you. Wellness has made an appearance on my blog several times within the past year. It is a brand and company that I trust and also support. When it comes to my dogs I pay very close attention to what I am feeding them, from food to treats. My smallest, Chloe, is a pug with a history of severe allergies. Wellness offers several products for pug parents like myself. They have dry food, wet food, and snacks without wheat or grain.

Indulging Your Four Legged Friend: Bugsy’s Box REVIEW!
The month of April is finally finished and I couldn’t be happier to see the first day of May. With my schedule being so hectic this past month, I haven’t had the time to pamper my four legged friends like normal. A monthly package of pooch friendly surprises arrived on my doorstep just in time. After finding pairs of socks and underwear in the dog beds, I knew we were in desperate need of some exciting new treats or toys. I recently discovered another monthly subscription program geared towards man’s best friend, Bugsy’s Box! The first thing I noticed about this service was their adorable little mascot, three year old Bugsy. He is a pug just like my little Chloe Marie and boy is he cute.
